it probably isn't as obscure or unknown as other that have been posted. But imagine what would the response of anyone be if you told them the same company that built their TDI Jetta also built a Supercar. Add to hat the price they would cost new that would make the Phaeton look sensible, and well priced. Peoples car? More like Very Special Peoples car.
Here is a nice render of how a new one could look like.

those renders look awesome, but they could still release the original concept and be fine. I don't think it's aged at all!

I am going to sound crazy, but its only small flaw is that it is more perfectly curved than today's supercars. Most of the current ones seem to have a sharp corner or two in places like the wheel arches, or the nose, or at the back. The Nardo is too perfectly curved.
Honestly, though, it's aged very, very well.

you don't sound crazy, you're right. The render is more in align with today's supercar designs. You know what is crazy? The yellow Nardo is 17 years old...

I know right! It just needs a strip of LEDS and a cubic centimeter of alcantara on the inside to meet modern standards.

I think Volkswagen should design their Golf with this same idea.

Did you play Test Drive Unlimited 2? It was epic

I still do once in a while. Forza Horizon was mostly better, but TDU2 was pretty good

I wasn't convinced at the Horizon really.
